Sample the finest range of Cotswold drinks at
The Priory Inn during Tetbury's Food and Drink Festival 2015.

Truly embrace the best of The Cotswolds at The Priory Inn by trying the complete range of locally brewed lagers, wheat beer and stout in a beautifully hand-carved Gloucestershire paddle.

The Priory Inn is a hotel and restaurant in the heart of the Cotswolds town of Tetbury which has been able to successfully source over 90% of its food (and most of the bar) from within a 30 mile radius. Its “30 Mile Food Zone” attracts many discerning customers, conscious of contributing to the local economy and eating the freshest food whilst also having a great time.

The constant big- brand cull at The Priory Inn meant a rejection back in 2012 of all mass-produced draft lagers and Guinness to be replaced by a locally made product - crafted with heaps of passion (but definitely no additives or preservatives!) by the family-run Cotswold Brewing Company.

To help you decide which of The Cotswold Brewing Company blends is your favourite, you can sample the range in a tempting hit of six quarter pints in one oak paddle at The Priory Inn: 3 lagers of different strengths - all highly flavoursome; India Pale Ale (IPA) smooth, soft and malty with a distinctive hoppiness; the fruity wheat beer (a lighter take on the Bavarian style and perfect with a slice); and, a rich smooth stout (merrily replacing Guinness).

Dave Kelly the owner of The Priory Inn said: “Without exception, our network of family-run, small-scale local food and drink suppliers offer massively superior products because of their personal connection to - and passion for - their products.  Richard Keene's brewery in Bourton on the Water is a perfect example.  Even our most sceptical regulars are now converts to The Cotswold Brewing approach!  In order to present the drinks with the respect they deserve, we asked Brockworth-based furniture maker Alan Preece to create something special from local oak so you can sample all 6 in one go.”

The Priory Inn's tasting paddles are a feature of Tetbury's Food and Drink Festival and a perfect thirst-quencher after some serious Sunday market shopping on September 20th 2015.
